Typical Applications of HPMC:

 *Tile Adhesive
1.Good water retention: prolonged opening time will make tiling more efficient.
2.Improved adhesion and sliding resistance: especially for heavy tiles.
3.Better workability: lubricity and plasticity of plaster is ensured, mortar can be applied easier and quicker

 *Cement Plaster / Dry mix mortar
1.Easy dry mix formula due to cold water solubility: lump formation can be easily avoided, ideal for heavy tiles.
2.Good water retention: prevention of fluid loss to the substrates, the appropriate water content is kept in mixture which guarantees longer concreting time.
3.Increased water demand: increased open time, expanded spry area and more economical formulation.
4.Easier spreading and improved sagging resistance due to improved consistency. 
   
 *Crack filler  
1.Excellent water retention of HPMC can prolong drying time of crack filler, it is helpful to improve work efficiency. Also, the high lubricity makes construction easier and more smooth.  
2.HPMC can improve the shrinkage resistance and crack resistance of crack filler, to perfect the surface quality.  
3.HPMC makes the construction surface fine and smooth. Meanwhile, the adhesiveness get improved.

 *Self-leveling floor materials  
1.The viscosity of HPMC has the effect of anti precipitation.  
2.HPMC can enhance the product liquidity and pumpability, so as to improve the efficiency of the flooring.  
3.The water-retaining property of HPMC can avoid excess air infiltration. Therefore, crack and contraction are greatly reduced.
